Fine Arts classes are designed to benefit children in their educational experience in the following ways:

  • Developing attentiveness as they follow musical direction and as they observe and create art.
  • Learning to plan ahead while sketching or completing a painting.
  • Learning to problem solve as they manipulate materials to make art, read music, sing, speak in public or express themselves with drama.
  • Gaining poise, self-confidence and the ability to perform in front of others.
  • Learning to be supportive of others with bigger or smaller roles than they have been assigned in a performance.
  • Developing patience as they work together with other students to put on a musical production or complete works of art.

Fine Arts Classes are designed to assist classroom teachers in providing a well-rounded education resulting in children being able to make a myriad of connections and become multi-faceted adults with more interests and skills than children who are only exposed to a limited number of subjects of study.
